Your account

You're responsible for what you post and for keeping your account secure. Don't share your login. You must be old enough in your country to enter into this agreement.

Community rules

These are the same rules listed on the Community Rules page. Breaking them can lead to your post being removed or your account suspended.

1. 01

   No harassment.

   Critique the painting, never the painter. No slurs, threats, doxxing, or pile-ons.

2. 02

   No illegal content.

   Nothing illegal where you or we operate — including sexual content involving minors, incitement, or material that violates someone else's rights. We remove it and report it.

3. 03

   Only post images you have the right to share.

   Your own paintings, your own photos, public-domain references, or material the rights-holder has clearly allowed. Credit references where you can. Don't repost another painter's work as your own.

4. 04

   Be kind about the work.

   No cruel, mocking, or hurtful comments about someone's art. Honest, specific critique is welcome. If you don't have something useful to say, scroll on.

Your content

You keep ownership of the images and writing you post. By uploading, you grant Atelier a non-exclusive licence to store and display your content on the site so the community can see it. You can remove your posts at any time.

Copyright & takedown requests

If you believe content on Atelier infringes your copyright, write to us with (1) a description of the work, (2) a link to the post on Atelier, (3) your contact details, and (4) a statement that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act for them.

Send takedown requests to copyright@ateliercommunity.com. We act on valid notices promptly.

No warranty

Atelier is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running and your work safe, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that nothing will ever go wrong.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a meaningful change, we'll note it on this page.
